triumph america DS mini tacho install

on the right there'as the mystic 6-pin connector (located under console). Does someone recognise it ?

on the left the main 12pin connector delivering all wires to the not optional console lights etc.
here above you can see that 12pin incoming wires only include the 'not optional stuff' and nothing else.

america 2009. how to connect tacho..

a photo trying to use tacho connector.. didn't work. It's because the 12pin connector don't import signal from coils (even the tacho's 2pin
connector has red wire, the 12pin don't import signal to it).

Only way to avoid remove tank to find the connection (red wire) to tach, would be the mystic
6-pin connector (in pic 1) that also locates under console. Not in use at moment.
It's been identified as OEM tacho connector. However I was not capable to get tacho working with it (tried different wires from it connectoed to tacho).

Now I've remove the tank and try find the CDI box (connector 9) and make a connection to it's p

in 9.

Ok, now again an unexpected surprise.
2010's cdi box isn't below tank, but behind the battery. Well in any case it's kind of good news..easy to reach, but bad news is that I don't if it's possible to use pins to connect the tacho here and how it's done.

Last attempt: make tacho connection from coils negative terminal:
..but which wire ? red/black or black
